The Mears story began in 1988 when a little known maintenance contractor in Gloucestershire, with a tiny work force, took its first steps as Mears Limited. Within four years Mears won its first local authority contract and achieved a remarkable £2.5 million turnover! All from a cosy portacabin.
2017
Construction began on our unique Extra Care development, Balmoral Place. The scheme represented the start of our Housing with Care offering and paved the way for the many integrated solutions that Mears provides today.
